HELP US SAVE MORE ANIMALS
When the animals come in to the shelter, they need vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm/Lyme’s tests, worming medications, and flea and tick preventative.
Many of them also need emergency medical care; surgery; and/or antibiotics and other drugs.
Your contribution will go directly to funding these life-saving expenses.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR THE ANIMALS EVERY MONTH
Choose to become Ganawenjige – a protector/caretaker for a shelter animal by providing ongoing safe refuge for the animals and hope for their futures.
We rely on individual donations to run the rescue. That often makes it difficult to budget, since we don’t know from month to month what our bank account will look like.
Monthly donations give us consistent income allowing us to avoid the difficult decisions about how much veterinary care we can afford for an individual animal.
Some of our costs:
- $6,000 – One spay/neuter/vaccination clinic for reservation residents
- $183 – One shelter dog spay/vaccinations
- $183 – One shelter dog neuter/vaccinations
- $183 – One shelter cat spay/vaccinations
- $108 – One shelter cat neuter/vaccinations

Dog and cat crates of all sizes are needed, new or used in good condition.
We need igloos or other very durable plastic type dog houses, new or used in good condition. No wooden dog houses please. We distribute them in the community to provide much needed shelter for dogs that have none.
